My teamates are Nikki, Katie, Brianna, Catherine, Nola, Madison, Taylor, Tina, Wendy, Gayle, Lisa, Maryana, Sarah, Jolene, Maria, Lovelle, Winona, Lyn, and me. (This is the group picture of the Smithereens after the game at the airport field)
Lyn is a young lady who live in Philippines. She came to Saipan for vacation. She said in Philippines there is no women soccer. But when she saw NMIFA Women's League she decide to register. She played few games and practices with us then she went back to Philippines. I was surprise that she join soccer when she came to Saipan for vacation.
Katie is a pretty lady who is one of the best player. She played soccer in her high school year. So she teaches us how to do best with our position and a lots of other things. She is also one of the two leaders. She always come to games and practices, and coach us. But she will miss the final game because she is now in states. She went home for vacation. And she is also the best person who can make the cow sound.
Jolene is a tall, brave, and also pretty lady who is saving our lifes. She plays goalie and defender. She always come to the practice and participate. She will miss the final game too, because she is going home for vacation like Katie. Sometimes I play with her in the field and we cheer each other.

Saipan the Shangri-la
I have many things that I observed while living in this beautiful island call Saipan(Northern Mariana Islands). The island is pretty clean, well organized, great environment, and lots of other things that you can enjoy. I first came here to visit, which means that I was tourist that come to Saipan to enjoy my vacation. The first time I came to Saipan was when I was 18month old, and second time was 8 years old. My family enjoy the vacation here in Saipan. We went to different kind of place to tour, and also we went to Tinian. At night time we enjoy watching the Polynesian dancer performing.
(This beautiful place is called Managaha. It's a place many tourists and locals enjoy their time)
Managaha is a place where almost all the tourists go and enjoy. They can see the fish under the water. All ages enjoy there time by swimming, tanning, parties, valleyball, and lots of things. My grandfather made a mini boat with the lifejacket, and he made us ride on it. My grandmother, and mother watch us playing while they were tanning. When I see Managaha from the boat going back to Saipan, the view from the boat was amazing. There was beautiful sunset, and bird flying.
(There is no air polution like this in Saipan, cause the garment factories close down)
Saipan is also place that can help people with allergy. Bigger places like Korea, Japan, China, and America the air there are not clean. Because of the factories, and more cars. Saipan have less cars, and the factories leave so the air is fresher than other place. My neighbor who had allergy, got a lot better after living in this clean, beautiful, and fresh island called Saipan.

How the economy and power rate affect my life
The economy in Northern Mariana Islands(Saipan) is in very low situation now. The people who worked in gartment factories leave to their home place, and more people going offisland. Also the decrease of tourists is another reason. The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation(CUC) had double the power rate. That may hurt many people, companies, and stores in Northern Mariana Islands.
The economy and power rate affect my life. I have to decrease the time of using computers and air conditiner. No one told me to do that, but I decided by myself. Now the bills that we pay to CUC is around 200 dollars. But for next month it's 400 dollars if we use like before. So many companies turn the air conditioner on when the customers visit them. Like my dad's company, we have to turn on the air condtioner all day. If we don't do that the machine might explode.
I think the power outage is the worst thing to students. During school days the power goes off, so sometimes the school tells students to go home. Some classes does not have window so they had to open the door inorder to get a light. And there was issue going on about no power for week. But the government bought the fuel, so were saved.

Tips for first year in High School(my experiment)
What can I say about being first year in high school... for me first year in high school is exciting, and nervous. It's nervous for few days and the rest of the school year is okay. When I came to Saipan Southern High School I saw the bell schedule, and I got shocked! Because the classes were too long. One hour and twenty minutes was not easy for me when I thought about staying in class for that long. But when I had experiment on that, I loved it. Because I had more time to learn. Teachers give good explanation on the education.
When I saw the school's electve classes I was saying WOW. The school had Band, Ceramic, Art, JROTC, Computer, Computer Application, and Health Occupation. Saipan Southern High School is the only public school that have band in Saipan. And for Health Occupation you also go to hopital and have experiment with the patients, and the doctors. But you can only go to hopital to do that in your Senior year.
(Saipan Southern High School JROTC)(Manta Band the winner of the Tumon Bay Music Festival)
To buy the lunch you need a card. It's a student ID card with a zip code thing at the back of your card. It makes you feel like you are special. Cause in other schools they pay money, but in Saipan Southern High School you insert the card in the machine and put money. Sometimes it makes you embarras. The time that makes you embarras is when you went to get your food but no money. So you should check before you go and buy.
I just find out that the time is going very fast. I didn't knew that it's almost end of the school year. So it's much better when you use the time wisely. Love the high school year, and it will stay in your mind forever.

The most surprising/interesting facts
(Cubism) (Impressionism)
The facts that I found most interesting or surprising while conducting my research, was the artistic movements that Pablo Picasso most associated with, and the artistic movements that Claude Monet most associated with. Cubism is the artistic movement that Pablo Picaso most associater with, and impressionism is the artistic movement that Claude Monet most associated with. Cubism is a style that emphasizes structure and design, in which artists tried to show all sides of 3-D objests on a flat canuas. Impressionism is described an art style taht tried to capture an impression of what thy eye sees at a given movement and the effects of sunlight. Those are the two new things I learn while doing this project.

What's suprising about learning!
Actually learning is surprising!
And if you learn and know abou the the ones that you didn't know before, it's suprising!
For example science, you can have experiment on it.
Imagination is good, but experimenting is better than imaginating.
Learning makes you smart!
So when you have time to learn learn it!
You will love it, and it's useful!
